Accommodation for Bird Watchers in Far North Queensland

Our Birdwatchers Cottage accommodation is about a 90 minute drive from Cairns Airport.

The cottage looks out into a rainforest gully, with a bird-attracting pond at the end of a deck.

We have an almost perfect climate all year round, but the cottage has a reverse cycle split a/cond, just in case.

The cottage has a bedroom with a queen bed, in the living room is a double sofa bed. (The Cottage sleeps 4 people max)

A fully equipped kitchen with 2 burner cooktop, microwave, kettle and toaster, etc.

A wall-mounted smart TV with Blu-ray disc player along with free WiFi access.

There are also several walking tracks around the property, to view the birds and native wildlife.

The buff-breasted paradise-kingfisher is resident from November to April, most years.

A 35 minute drive to Port Douglas, for trips to the Great Barrier Reef, the Low Isles or the Daintree rainforest area.
